Brief Description
Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing our existing key accounts in wireless and PC segment within Europe. The candidate will have proven sales, marketing and business development experience in the wireless and PC industry, consisting of wireless operators, PC & handset manufacturers, and semiconductor companies. Experience selling testing software and key account management is desirable. In addition, the candidate should have understanding of at least 2 of the following technologies, DirectX, OpenGL ES, OpenVG, Java 3D, Windows Vista and leading mobile OS environments.
Reports To: VP, Sales and Marketing
Location:Negotiable, preferably Espoo, Finland
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop and maintain Futuremark sales in European strategic key account segment. This segment includes leading mobile corporations including Nokia, SonyEricsson, ARM, Broadcom, Imagination Technologies and Symbian.
- Maximize Futuremark competitive advantage and create demand that provides greater value to Futuremark key accounts
- Develop Futuremark into a leader in mobile, embedded and PC performance analysis and measurement solutions in Europe
- Assume responsibility for achieving and exceeding personal sales goals
- Prepare presentations and product demonstrations to customers
- Establish and manage communication between customers and R&D and engineering in Finland
- Travel through the EMEA region to visit all key customers personally
Minimum Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant related discipline
- Minimum 4 years account management experience in the Wireless & Mobile Industry. Specifically selling to at least two of the following segments is required: Handset and Handset Component Manufacturers, PC manufacturers, Wireless Chipset Manufacturers, or Wireless Operators.
- Experience working in a dynamic and global company that is sales and technology driven
- Fluent spoken / written English
- Able to handle large, critical and / or complex accounts
- Able to travel frequently (at least 1/3 to ½ of time will be on the road) within Europe and occasionally outside of Europe
Desirable Background, Personal Attributes, or Specific Skills
- Clear understanding of selling into the Mobile, embedded, and PC Industry
- Proven sales track record in meeting/exceeding quarterly/annual sales targets
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Self motivated
