Dave 'Wavey' Baumann from Beyond3D has posted a review on the Hercules 3D Prophet 8500 LE 128MB. That card sure seems to be a "bang for the buck" if you still haven't upgraded to a DX8+ class card! Here's a nibblet: $qs The 3D Prohpet FDX 8500LE is Hercules' version of the Radeon 8500LE. Radeon 8500LE's are based on the same ATi R200 chip that normal Radeon 8500s utilise-hence all the DirectX 8.1 features are available-with the only difference being a slightly lower clock speed. Whereas the standard 8500's feature core/memory clock speed for 275/275MHz, the 3D Prohpet FDX 8500LE runs at 250/250MHz. $qe To catch the full story, click here.
