Thanks to Ferrago.co.uk for sending word that they have thrown together a preview on Mad Doc and Splash Damage's upcoming Return To Castle Wolfenstein expansion pack, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Here's a nugget:

There is also a role-playing element in both the single and multiplayer games. As you play through you gain experience and move up in rank, which will be represented on your character skin, and will give you extra or improved skills. For example if you used the sniper rifle you would find your cross hairs focus more quickly after each shot. Engineers will be quicker at performing actions and soldiers will be able to carry more ammo and a heavy and a light weapon at the same time.
