HomeLAN has tossed up a preview on the multiplayer portion of Innerloop Studios' upcoming tactical shooter, IGI 2: Covert Strike. Here's a clipping:

Innerloop has taken a page from the most popular multiplayer action game Counter-Strike in terms of its weapon purchase system. Players get $1000 at first to purchase weapons and items at their spawn points. Where the purchase differs is in the actual spawning of players. If you want to instantly reappear in the game after your character dies you can, but it cost you money to do so. The longer you wait to spawn back into the game the cheaper it will be for you to do so until it becomes free. Of course, the folks at Innerloop have loaded up the multiplayer mode with a bunch of pistols, shotguns, rifles and other weapons for people to buy, along with other items like C4 explosives.
