GameSpy has thrown up a preview on Digital Illusions' upcoming expansion pack, Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome. Here's a clipping:

As hardcore Battlefield 1942 fans can probably deduce from the above descriptions, The Road To Rome adds two new armies to the mix -- Italy and France -- with new models and appropriate voice commands. On the Italian side, the assault kit contains the Breda Modello machine gun, while French medics carry the Sten SMG.
