Loadedinc.com has posted a preview on the upcoming PC version of Ubi Soft's stealth title, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Here's a blurb:

The PC version will pretty much be a direct port of the Xbox version with the same missions so don’t expect anything new to be thrown in. While this may seem a shame at first, it’s always nice to get a freebie, don’t be disappointed, the Xbox version of Splinter Cell was highly rewarding and if you haven’t played the game on Billy Gate’s black box of fun then you’re in for a treat. So what do you get? Well the most noticeable change is the quality of the game’s graphics. Making use of high processing power and graphics cards is one of the main advantages of this port. The resolution can be whacked right up and I must say it’s absolutely stunning. The lighting effects and textures on the Xbox version looked great but on the PC it’s a real improvement on crispness and quality and I know I will probably play though the right game again on the PC version just for that reason. The game is pretty intense on the old processing power, it is using the Unreal engine after all, so the beefier your machine the better.
