GameSpy has whipped up a preview on Infinity Ward's upcoming World War II-based first person shooter, Call of Duty. Here's some lovin':
The highlight of the evening for us, however, was the "Red Square" mission, one of the levels from the Russian campaign. Similar to the "Stalingrad" mission that kicks off the campaign, the mission starts with a stirring speech from your commanding officer, who reminds the troops that they're never to retreat -- "never one step back." After a few moments (with some dramatic music added for full effect), the army rushes the yard in one of the most epic videogame scenes in recent memory ... and Call of Duty already has a few. Soldiers scramble forward and scatter in all directions, and after your character finally finds a weapon, he finds a good flanking position and starts taking out mounted guns across the yard.
Yummy!
