The FileFront is the latest website to fire-up a preview on UbiSoft's upcoming stealth title, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Here's a bit on the new sound meter:
In addition to the light meter made famous by the previous two Splinter Cell games, Chaos Theory has implemented a brand new system to make matters even more complicated. Now players will have to make sure that they do not make more sound than the ambient sound around them, displayed by a handy gauge right next to the light meter. If there is a lot of noise around Sam like generators or rain, he will be able to make more noise himself and not attract attention. But if it is dead silent, anything from running to firing a non-silenced shot is sure to draw a crowd. Better watch your step.
