The folks over at TeleFragged have slapped up their take on Digital Illusions' hit multiplayer shooter, Battlefield 2. With a final score of 94%, this puppy could be worth checking out! Anyways, here's a snippet on the helicopters:

The next thing to notice: helicopters. The whirlies and planes in this game do a beautiful job of being great tools in the hands of skilled pilots, but they generally don't completely overpower the map like they could do in the massively popular Desert Combat for BF1942. Being in the air means you're going to be more susceptible to ground-to-air attacks, and while the lowly soldier can't do a whole lot to you, he can with the right gun emplacements or ground vehicles. In the tighter play between good clans, air superiority has shown to be much more effective and important; a clan with even a decent pilot is going to have a large advantage over one with no pilots.
