EverQuest II PvP Preview

GameSpy has posted an article taking a look at the upcoming PvP content for Sony Online's hit MMORPG, EverQuest II. Here's a snippet on the arena:

Which brings us to the Arena itself, a major feature in the new expansion. Entering the competition will bring up a game start menu that looks like something you'd see in a first-person shooter game. You can select from three modes of play: Deathmatch, Destroy the Idol, or Capture the Flag. Then you can set the player counts, time limits, rules for observing the match and so on. At the moment there's only one map available but more are on the way.
