Yahoo!Games has shot-up their take on Ritual Entertainment's upcoming first person shooter, SiN Episodes: Emergence. Here's a chunk on the game's dynamic difficulty system:

Mustaine's team has added a dynamic difficulty system to the engine, so FPS pros will find themselves facing more and better-equipped troops, while novices will find the challenge level kept a little more manageable. Getting this type of system right can be tricky -- nobody likes to feel like they're being punished for playing too well, or having their hand held through trickier segments.
