Yesterday, the well-connected folks over at The Inquirer announced that Lost Planet: Extreme Edition , the first downloadable DX10 demo, would be released today.
Tomorrow [Today, the 15th], we're looking out for the Lost Planet demo. Whilst this has already been out on Xbox 360 for a while now, it's out on the PC in June and the playable demo is out tomorrow from all the usual places. This means that you can finally, finally, finally use your Geforce 8800 for something. Or, if you happen to end up with a Radeon HD in your postbox tomorrow, you'll be pleased to know that it's arrived just in time to be put through its paces.
Finally, all you lucky GeForce 8500/8600/8800 owners can witness DX10 in real-time. Be sure to post screenshots on our forum! If anyone out there has already managed to purchase a Radeon HD 2900 XT, you are compelled to post screenshots as well!
As of right now, 1:30AM Eastern Time, the demo is not out yet. However, it is supposed to be released at Gamespot and nZone, so keep refreshing those sites.
