You've heard me say it before; new CPUs are pretty damn warm and new ways of cooling them are always welcomed. Whilst the dual core chips from both AMD and Intel weren't too bad with their temperatures the new quad core CPUs certainly put out enough heat to keep your room a nice temperature during winter!

Langhi Lau from Hi-Tech Reviews has the CoolIT Freezone CPU Cooler for review. Unlike your standard coolers this is an all in one solution allowing you to use a TEC (Thermoelectric Cooler) to cool your CPU:

"After running the CoolIT Freezone for almost 30-days I can honestly say that I am completely blown away by the performance of this device. There have been a few day so far this year where the outside temperature approached 97 degrees F (36 degrees C) and since we had no been able to get a service man out to check our central air we left if off. On those days the room temperature where the four computers are running approached 84 F (28.8 C), yet the processor temperature never went over 13 degrees C (55.4 F) at anytime."

Undoubtedly this is the cooler you should consider if you're considering an overclocked quad core rig. Whilst phase change may get you higher clocks and lower temperatures, it's not as easy to install in comparison and makes your rig far less mobile; forget those quick and easy LAN parties.

Take a look at the full review. They include a nice flash video to show you how amazingly simple it is to install. Whilst a little pricey, you can guarantee it will do its job very well, no matter the CPU.
