Officially unveiled at Cebit 2007, Zotac is a new competitor in the video card business. At present, they are exclusively manufacturing Nvidia-based video cards and motherboards. TweakTown has just reviewed the Zotac GeForce 8800GTX AMP! Edition, an overclocked GeForce 8800GTX.
Heres what they had to say:
[The] 8800GTX AMP! Edition is a fantastic graphics card from Zotac, especially considering they are very new to the market. We can see that the overclock really manages to give us some serious performance gains across the board. This is an excellent way for a new company to stand out, and the name AMP! Edition sounds pretty funky, too.
Overall, Zotac has to been commended for releasing a very highly clocked GeForce 8800GTX. The only other 8800GTX to match its specifications is the XFX GeForce 8800GTX XXX, which retails in the $630 USD range, if you can find it
