To the best of my recollection, in the early 1990s, the only company manufacturing enthusiast-oriented cases was Antec. While the market has grown dramatically since that time, Antec remains a serious player in the PC case industry. DragonSteelMods has just reviewed the Antec Sonata III case.
Lets see what they had to say:
The Antec Sonata III is a worthy successor to the Sonata brand name. It is a beautiful case, which is well designed. Having an eSATA connector on the front is a welcome addition. The addition of the energy efficient EarthWatts PSU, makes this case a better package than the older Sonatas. I have very few complaints about the Sonata III and feel it would make a great case for either a HTPC setup or as a regular desk workstation.
While I am personally not too keen on the mirrored silver bezel, this is a very well thought out case. Antec has wisely chosen to simply update and improve the winning design of its Sonata II case. The included 500 Watt EarthWatts PSU is also a very solid choice for mainstream configurations.
