PC Perspective and TweakTown have reviewed three netbooks from Acer, ASUS, and GIGABYTE.
Let's see what they had to say:
- PC Perspective: ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Seashell Netbook Video Review:
"For the price, the ASUS 1005HA offers a lot of very unique and interesting features that you won't find on other netbooks including support for 802.11n networking and Bluetooth 2.1 + AD2P support for wireless audio streaming. Not only that, but it has a sexy seashell design (hence the name of course) and great battery life (though not up to the 10 hours quoted by ASUS exactly) for a price under $400. There were a couple of drawbacks, notably the trackpad and overall system performance, but in terms of best in class netbook devices, this is one of the top."

- TweakTown: Acer Aspire One D250-1165 Netbook Review:
"As I said, there is nothing wrong with the D250. The rig has a nice keyboard, a nice screen and nice performance. The problem for me is that the D250 does nothing to set itself apart from the pack other than perhaps having a nicer box. If you already have a netbook and are wanting to upgrade to something nicer, unless yours really sucks, the D250 is probably more of the same. If you dont own a netbook and want one, the D250 is in all honesty a great option, as are many of the other netbooks on the market."

- TweakTown: GIGABYTE Booktop M1022 Netbook Review:
"All I can say is that it is very refreshing to see GIGABYTE actually put some thought into offering usable extra features into its netbooks that set it apart from the pack. The docking station is a fantastic idea and makes real world use of the M1022 much easier.
The M1022 did very well on the benchmarks including that most important of tests -- battery life. With the screen turned down to minimum brightness you can work for over five hours on a single charge. In all the GIGABYTE Booktop M1022 is easily one of the best netbooks in all the land, even if its keyboard looks cluttered and the track pad buttons take some getting used to."
