Hardware Secrets, Legit Reviews, and XtremeComputing have reviewed the new In Win Maelstorm, a very uniquely styled full tower case.
Let's see what they had to say:
- Hardware Secrets:
"In summary, we think Maelstrom provides a terrific value for the user looking for an inexpensive (compared to other full-tower cases around, of course) full-tower case focused on ventilation."

"Overall, I really like the case design. It has some very nice features such as the wide array of I/O panel ports, built-in rail mount storage, the ability to add up to ten fans, and the acoustic absorbing material. All of this adds a great deal of value to the product. Minor stuff such as the adjustable stands, fan adapters, motherboard cutout, and finished interior round out the package nicely.
In my eyes, the Maelstrom has a few minor issues that are easily remedied. First, the size and alignment of the motherboard tray cutout needs to be altered for maximum compatibility. Nothing a Dremel tool can't fix. Second, the drive bay rails and front bezel could use a little tweaking for shallow depth devices which may occupy multiple bays. Again, a Dremel tool comes in handy here, if needed. Lastly, Id love to see a removable motherboard tray but for $109.99 shipped I think the Maelstrom is a good value as is so I could live without this feature."

- XtremeComputing:
"Prior to reviewing this case, I was considering ordering the highly popular Antec 902 case. However, that was before I had the pleasure of checking the In Win Maelstrom out. Quite simply if you want high quality, enthusiast inspired build and looks to match, look no further the In Win Maelstrom is an awesome case, and can be had for a very reasonable price.
I would especially recommend this case if youre looking at buying the ATI HD5870, as that cards length wont fit in most cases, however in this one, my 12 GTX275 fitted and Im therefore sure that the 5870s 11 length will fit happily with plenty of room to spare."
