OCIA have posted a review of the new PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk II 750W power supply, which is an update to the original Silencer 750W.
Here's what they had to say:
"The Silencer Mk II 750 looks nice, has plenty of rugged connectors, and the cables are long enough for the largest PC case. The PSU comes with a heavy 14ga cord, some wire ties for cable management, and thumbscrews for ease of installation. The Silencer Mk II 750 is 80Plus Silver rated, with efficiency up to 88%.
In my testing, I saw some flutter, but not constant and only .10v. That is pretty much no flutter at all, very nice while running both a Radeon HD 5850 and a Radeon HD 4870 in Crossfire.
The most surprising thing about the Silencer Mk II 750 is the price, it sells for $129.99 at my favorite online retailer. I highly recommend this power supply for any single video card rig, and for SLI up to at least what it is rated for, a pair of GeForce GTX 260s. I imagine it would handle more than that, however."
This is quite a good power supply, check out Hardware Secret's article for a far more detailed analysis.
