PureOverclock have posted a review of the enthusiast-oriented Thermalright Venomous X-RT CPU cooler, the successor to the legendary Ultra-120 eXtreme.

Here's what they had to say:

"While the Thermalright Venomous X-RT cannot quite match the top air coolers in terms of raw performance, it does achieve very good temperatures at almost silent noise levels. That is an extremely difficult combination to find in the marketplace. That rare feature set will not come cheap, but if you want very low noise levels and don't want to compromise cooling performance, then your choices are very limited. The Thermalright Venomous X-RT is one that manages to achieve that rare combination and deserves consideration if you need cool and quiet in your computer."

This is a very good CPU cooler, but it has been surpassed by the likes of the Noctua NH-D14 and ProlimaTech Super Mega.
