Funky Kit and HardwareHeaven have reviewed a few NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 graphics cards from MSI, Palit, and Zotac.

Let's see what they had to say:

  • Funky Kit: MSI Geforce GTS 450 Cyclone OC Edition (N450GTS):

"Overall, the MSI Geforce GTS 450 Cyclone a good all rounder with some great features. It offers decent performance that's comparable to the Radeon HD 5770 at a price that's astonshingly attractive. Graphic cards based on Nvidia's Geforce GTS 450, such as the MSI Geforce GTS 450 Cyclone will be suited for the mainstream user and occasional gamer. Hardcore gaming enthusiasts will probably give this one a miss."

  • Funky Kit: Zotac Geforce GTS 450 (1Gb GDDR5):

"I thought that the performance of the Zotac's Geforce GTS 450 was pretty decent considering it's their entry-level model. They also have a better performing overclocked version, called the AMP! series. In our tests, the card produced scores which were acceptable. As expected, it compete extremely well against the Radeon HD 5770 cards, only falling marginally against the MSI N450GTS, which is overclocked slightly higher at 850Mhz."

  • HardwareHeaven: Palit GeForce GTS 450 Sonic Platinum SLI Review:

"Looking specifically at the Palit model and its performance in SLI we have the fastest GTS 450 available and with the great scaling provided by NVIDIA's drivers two of these cards combine to exceed the 5770 in CrossFire, often by a significant amount. Palit also give us an efficient, low noise cooler and compact PCB design which makes it ideal for installing in HTPC environments. When we add to that a selection of outputs which exceed the reference card it is clear that Palit's GTS 450 is a hugely desirable product."
