KitGuru and PureOverclock have reviewed the ASRock 890GX Extreme4 motherboard, an AMD 890GX-based AM3 motherboard that supports both SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0.
Let's see what they had to say:
- KitGuru:
"Once again, ASRock have impressed us with a high-quality motherboard that performs well. This board is excellent for overclocking, providing easy to use options for those who dont have the time or skills to overclock their system. Even better, for those who do have the time and skills, there are a plethora of tweakable options.
ASRock certainly havent skimped on features as the 890GX Extreme4 supports SATA3, eSATA3 and USB3.0 as well as almost everything else we could ask for. They have also included a utility which allows the user to unlock hidden CPU cores."

- PureOverclock:
"The build quality here is also well done; ASRock has come a long way over the past couple of years in establishing themselves as providing great value boards in the marketplace. For a casual user who doesn't plan to get a video card, this board is great. Future proofed by way of USB3.0 and SATA3, it's set for future peripherals. Priced at $139 at one of our favorite online retailers, this board is a good one. Its not the best overclocker, but for a 890GX board we certainly cant complain. In fact, its quite a good overall board at an excellent price, offering great value, expandability, sleek looks and power saving features. Definitely on our recommended list."
