KitGuru, t-break, and Tweaknews have reviewed three different 24-inch widescreen LCD monitors from ASUS, BenQ, and Samsung.
Let's see what they had to say:
- KitGuru: ASUS ML248H Designo ML Series LCD Monitor Review:
"After our rather critical review of the MS236H were are pleased to report that Asus have raised the bar with the release of their new ML248H panel. As a general screen for watching movies and playing games it is going to be a good purchase, and we also appreciate the very low power drain. This wont hit your electricity bill hard every quarter.
It isnt without fault, there is some colour bleed across the width of the screen and there is minor backlight leakage on the edges, with white balance slightly out, more so on the left of the screen."

- t-break: BenQ XL2410T LCD Monitor Review:
"What really struck me at first about the BenQ XL2410T was its simple and expansive design. In actual performance, the monitor excelled at pretty much everything I threw at it; from games to movies to just plain webpages, everything looks crisp and pleasant. Even on its own the monitor would have been worth it, but the fact that its Nvidia 3D Vision compatible, coupled with its practicality put it head and shoulders above the competition."

- Tweaknews: Samsung FX2490HD 24 Inch LED TV / Monitor Review:
"The Samsung SyncMaster FX2490HD is a stylish LED monitor / TV that tries to perform the role of two products in one, but doesn't seem to excel at either function. While used as a monitor, it does perform its task very well. But with the lack of a suitable DVI connection and no cable adapter, the user is limited to use the older analog VGA which to some will seem rather outdated for a 2010 product. When shifting our focus for use in a strict HDTV environment, the need for color calibration will have some consumers a little unhappy with the "out of the box" color configuration which seems to be set in stock form to have to be adjusted and calibrated away from its noticeable green saturation."
