KitGuru have reviewed the brand new ASUS ROG Vulcan ANC (Active-Noise-Cancelling) Pro gaming headset.

Let's see what they had to say:

"Our general impressions of the Asus Republic of Gamers Vulcan ANC headset are very positive; the sound quality and performance are bang on the money and the innovative ANC feature is something we’ve never seen before on a gaming headset.

The one minor gripe that we have with the Vulcan ANC is the build quality and construction, which aren’t quite as good as we would expect from a £100+ headset. It certainly isn’t bad, but we would expect a little more from Asus in this price range. If you are the type of person who manages to break products, a headset from SteelSeries’ indestructible range, such as the Spectrum 5XB might be more appropriate long term."


This seems like a very good gaming headset, but it is hard to know whether its better than the equally new and seemingly equally capable Cooler Master Storm Sirus 5.1 and Corsair HS1A.
