Intel have just launched their latest enthusiast-oriented solid state drive, Intel 520 Series 'Cherryville'. This new SATA 6Gb/s SSD features the class-leading SandForce SF-2281 controller, 25nm Intel NAND, but mostly importantly 550MB/s read and 520MB/s write speeds. It also comes with a 5-year warranty, which should help alleviate any reliability concerns.
