"Overall, the Corsair Carbide 500R screamed first class, starting with the white/black color scheme to help it stand apart from the swamped, predominately black, case market. The addition of the USB 3.0, fan controller, and the LED light switch are always a nice surprise. The wire management solution utilized by the 500R worked great and kept the inside of the case clutter free, which will promote better airflow and lower temperatures. Installation was quick and easy with the mostly tool-free design the 500R brings to the table. The thumbscrews for the PCI slots and the tabs that auto-lock into position for the 5.25 drive bays help keep installation going fast. The dust filtering used with the 500R is solid, but not the best we have seen. This is acceptable, because for a case in this price segment, MSRP $139.99, we would not expect to see the best-of-the-best filtration."
