Thermaltake Bach VX Review
With the AMD X2900XT card looking like it will certainly fill a case, so it's definitely not a bad thing that we see more reviews of cases that can cope with such beastly cards. With the 8800 series, people are just about squeezing them into current cases, so for all those upgraders, a new case might be on the list of things to change too.
XYZ Computing has the Thermaltake Bach VX, a steel and aluminium combination case that perhaps isn't as fancy as the name it holds. Here is a little of what they had to say:
"One of Thermaltake's newest models to follow this trend is the Bach VX, an updated version of their original Bach media case. While the Bach was an HTPC case and was horizontally-oriented with a small display on the front, the VX is much more commonplace. The VX has gone vertical and has ditched the display and instead taken on a brushed metal bezel and glossy bay covers. Some of the original styling is still in place, but the VX is a very different case from the first Bach."
It's quite an attractive case, simple and clean, but doesn't really shout out at you. This might be a good thing if you don't want anything loud in looks. It seems well designed and very spacious and all in all, a very nice case.
Take a look at the full review and see if this could be on your list of upgrades, its simple clean looks being well suited for your living room.
