Antec TruePower Quattro 850W Modular Power Supply Review

Fri 2007-08-24 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
Back in the day, Antec power supplies were highly sought after by enthusiasts. However, when true competitors started appearing, the company’s products fell into relative obscurity. Well about two months ago, Antec released the enthusiast-oriented TruePower Quattro series. ThinkComputers has just posted a review of the Antec TruePower Quattro 850W modular power supply.

Let’s see what they had to say:

“I very much like the Quattro 850. It's more power efficient than most 850W power supplies. That and the modulary make this a splendid unit worthy of my gaming rig. Should I ever upgrade to multiple graphics cards, I will certainly rest easy knowing that the Quattro 850 can handle it, or them, rather.

Additionally, when I had more hard drives, I'll know that I've got plenty of power to go around.”

While the racing stripe might not be for everyone, it will be hidden 99% of the time, so don’t let that distract you from what is truly is one of the best units on the market. If you are interested in this product, and want more information, I highly suggest that you read Power Supply God johnnyGURU’s review.
