Alphacool NexXxos XP Bold CPU Waterblock Review

Tue 2008-01-15 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
CPU3D has just reviewed the Alphacool NexXxos XP Bold CPU waterblock.

Let’s see what they had to say:

“I was very pleased with the cooling performance of the Alphacool NexXxos XP Bold CPU waterblock. It competes very well against the very good Swiftech Apogee GTX, with only 1-2 degrees difference. And on average, it cooled our mildly overclocked Quad Core by about 6-8 degrees over the very powerful OCZ Vendetta, which is fan-based cooler.”

Overall, this seems like a well thought out and high-quality product. Alphacool should consider offering a version with 1/2” fittings, which is the norm among most DIY watercooling kits.
