Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 Motherboard Review

Tue 2008-01-29 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
CPU3D has just reviewed the new Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 motherboard.

Here’s what they had to say:

“All-in-all the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 is a good performer that's amed at the mainstream market. It uses Intel's P35 chipset and supports 45nm Penryn processors, as well as 1600FSB and DDR2-1200 (via overclocking). What's more, the D.E.S. feature does an excellent job of reducing power consumption and lowering the temperature of the motherboard. It will definitely appeal to both mainstream users and enthusiasts alike.”

While the GA-EP35-DS4 is an excellent product, particularly for overclockers, Gigabyte has priced it very closely to its high-end GA-X38-DS4 motherboard, which is arguably a better choice for the enthusiast crowd.
