Nexus Caterpillar ATX Quiet Case Review

Thu 2008-02-14 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
Virtual-Hideout has posted a review of the Nexus Caterpillar ATX Quiet case.

Let’s see what they had to say:

“Overall, I felt okay with the Nexus Caterpillar. Its innovative design, along with the inclusion of sound-deadening foam on the insides and two high-quality low-noise 120mm fans win points with me. However, the weird layout and other design issues make installation tougher than it ought to be. In particular, the close proximity of the HDD cage to the power supply area makes installation tricky and may even prohibit certain PSUs from being used in the case.”

This seems like a good case for the noise-conscious user who doesn’t swap components too often. The included sound dampening foam and high-quality Nexus/Yate Loon 120MM fans are definitely nice touches.
