ASUS P5K64 WS DDR3 Motherboard Review

Mon 2008-02-25 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
ThinkComputers has just reviewed the ASUS P5K64 WS, an Intel P35 DDR3 motherboard.

Here’s what they had to say:

“The Asus P5K64 WS runs in the $200 range, which is about what we'd expect to pay for a motherboard of this caliber. No, it isn't for everyone, if you know you will never need the Quartet Crossfire capabilities, you'd probably be better off with an Asus enthusiast board. But, if you do need a workstation board with the heart of an enthusiast board, the P5K64 WS is definitely for you.

ThinkComputers awards the ASUS P5K64 WS Intel P35 DDR3 Motherboard a 10 out of 10 score.”

This is a solid motherboard in every respect, and it will become even more attractive once AMD releases proper CrossFireX drivers, so those four PCI-E x16 slots can finally be put to good use.
