Antec Three Hundred Case Review

Tue 2008-05-13 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
CPU3D has posted a review of the Antec Three Hundred, a black ATX mid-tower case.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Overall, I was very impressed with this case. This case targets the budget crowd for only around $50.00 in US funds. Considering that cost, this case brings a ton of features to the table. Outstanding thermal performance at stock, with the ability to mount even more fans. Large spacious interior that leaves ample room to work in, even with a full complement of hardware installed. It’s missing other little touches like silicone mounts for hard drives to dampen vibration noise, or some screw less features. However, once we go back to the price, the construction quality, and features this case does offer for the cost is outstanding.”

The Antec Three Hundred looks surprisingly like the Cooler Master Centurion 590, and it’s priced the same too ($70 vs. $65). This means that there are now two exceptional sub-$75 cases on the market. The Cooler Master has better cooling and expansion capabilities, but the Antec likely has superior build quality.
