ASUS & Gigabyte X58 Express Motherboards Pictured

TweakTown has managed to picture pre-production ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards based on the Intel X58 Express chipset, which will be among the first to support the Socket 1366 Nehalem/Core i7 processors.

Check it out:

GIGABYTE shows us its X58 Extreme mobo in Taipei.

I still find those six memory slots a bit awkward, but it’s the performance that ultimately matters. It will definitely be interesting to see how stable this new platform is upon release, and thankfully that's not too far away anymore!
