Hiper Osiris Mid-Tower Case Review

Tue 2008-10-07 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
Hardware Logic and PC Perspective have both reviewed the Hiper Osiris mid-tower case.

Let’s see what they had to say:

  • Hardware Logic:

“Simply stated, this is the finest enclosure that Hiper has ever produced. From the accessory bundle to the smallest detail in the design of this enclosure, Hiper has improved upon the Anubis design by leaps and bounds.

Aside from a few nagging issues that we feel could be improved upon, there is no single area that the Osiris falters in. Sure, we'd like to see a dust filter for the front intake fan, and we'd definitely like to see reusable PCI brackets implemented in the next go around. And yes, we cannot forget about the rather limited cable management opportunities inside the Osiris. But quite frankly, we would be mindless zombies if we allowed these small issues to put a pall over a case that is as extraordinarily designed and manufactured as the Hiper Osiris.”

  • PC Perspective:

“The Hiper Osiris mid-tower enclosure is a nice looking case that delivers good airflow with acceptable noise. The all aluminum chassis is sturdy and light weight. The relatively compact chassis provides room for five 5.25” external devices and up to five internal 3.5” HDDs.”

This is definitely of the best cases that Hiper has designed thus far, and I hope that they continue in this direction. Having said that, I’m not entirely convinced that it’s worth $170, but some may disagree.
