DFI LanParty UT P45-T3RS Motherboard Review
CPU3D have posted a review of the
DFI LanParty UT P45-T3RS motherboard, which is based on the Intel P45 Express chipset.
Let's see what they had to say:
"What strikes you the most at first glance, is its bright green and yellow UV sensitive connectors found on the motherboard. These include the PCIe, PCI, DIMM slots, as well as the SATA, IDE and floppy connectors. It really makes the whole motherboard stand out.
Just like all DFI LanParty motherboards based on Intel's P45 chipset ... the DFI LanParty UT P45-T3RS is a very good motherboard indeed. The performance was on par with other P45 based motherboards and overall it competed very well against others in its class. So no complaints here.
There were 2 things which I found very attractive ... and that is the overclocking ability and the extra features the motherboard offers. These include the unique customiseable chipset cooling system, 8-phase full digital PWM, UV sensitive components, internal power-on and reset switches, diagnostic LEDs, as well as the separate Bernstein HD audio card with full SPDIF support.
The P45-T3RS is an excellent product, but at $200+ it is pretty expensive for a P45 motherboard. For $50 less you can buy the Gigabyte EP45T-UD3P, and while it is not as visually impressive as the DFI, it is a solid overclocking-friendly P45 DDR3 motherboard.
