Steelseries 7G Keyboard Review

DriverHeaven have posted a review of the impressive Steelseries 7G, a simple but intriguing keyboard.

"Although the keyboard lacks fancy features such as extra macro buttons and an LCD screen, it is clear that a lot of time and effort has been invested into the build quality and durability. The only thing we would love to see in a future revision is a backlit keyboard option for those late night gaming sessions. Many people end up using their computers in a dark environment and a backlit device can make life a lot more comfortable.

Many people will look at the price of the 7G and instantly write it off as too expensive. However, anyone who appreciates a quality product should look no further than the 7G whether they want a blazingly fast response for the latest shoot ‘em up or unbeatable feedback while typing. The mechanical switches are simply magnificent and the build quality is some of the best you’ll ever see in a keyboard."

Although it is certainly nothing to look at, the 7G should appeal to keyboard purist who aren't enticed by additional keys and LCD displays.
