Quakecon 2009 Coverage - Day 1-2-3
PC Perspective have posted coverage of all three days of Quakecon 2009, North America's largest computing gaming event.

- Quakecon 2009 - Day 1 coverage:
"id Software CEO Todd Hollenstead started off Quakecon 2009 by
thanking the volunteers, attendees, and sponsors of the event. Hollenstead
briefly discussed Activision's new Wolfenstein game that's due to arrive in
stores on Aug. 18. Another key issue he talked about was ZeniMax Media
Inc., the parent company of noted game publisher Bethesda Softworks, who
recently acquired id Software. He discussed how this partnership was going
to work as well as some of the benefits of being under the ZeniMax Media
umbrella."

- Quakecon 2009 - Day 2 and 3 coverage:
"Overclocker Sami Makinen Macci tweaks a few settings in the BIOS
while K|ngp|in prepares to add more LN2 to their overclocking rig. The
current world record for AMD's Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition CPU is 7.002
GHz. They were easily able to hit 6 GHz early on in the day, but they
continued to work throughout the evening to break the record."
