NZXT M59 Classic Series Review

Mon 2009-10-26 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
BCCHardware, Rbmods, and ThinkComputers have posted a review of the NZXT M59 Classic Series, a mid-tower case.

Here's what they had to say:

  • BCCHardware:

"Great case all-in-all, with some good looks to boot! Good cooling makes it an excellent gamers’ chassis with plenty of room for expansion. It is water cooling ready even with old school water cooling equipment. There is enough room inside for even the longest graphic cards. Cable management is sufficient for most needs and the sweet lighting seals the deal. It even includes a bracket for SSD drives. For 60$ it’s a steal."

  • Rbmods:

"NZXT promised an advanced gaming chassis that's easy to build. On all accounts, NZXT has delivered. Not only does this case facilitate easy building, it also allows for easy upgrades by making swapping of components a breeze.

Airflow potential is excellent with this case. With 5 large fan mounting locations, this case can flow lots of air and be quiet about it. There are filters on all of the intake fans. Even the power supply has its own filtered intake."

  • ThinkComputers:

"We look at a ton of cases here at ThinkComputers and the NZXT M59 is an average case, there really is not much that sets it apart from other cases, except one huge thing.THE PRICE! You can find this case online for $60 or less! This is what makes this case different, I don't know of any other case out there at this price that packs in all of these features.

So what features are we talking about? First you get a unique design with a side window, 2 included fans (1 LED fan), thumbscrews, tool-less drive installation, room for two 2.5-inch drives, cable routing chambers, case lighting, bottom mounted PSU, fan filters, eSATA port, and an all black interior. That is sure a lot of things to throw into a $60 case!"

Although many will be put off by the front fascia, those who aren't will find a a good value and solid overall case.
