  "In summary, there's a long future ahead for the Radeon HD 5870. DirectX 11 is the future of gaming, whether the competition likes it or not, and ATI has a huge head-start on absorbing an early market share. Eyefinity is a nice touch and it certainly adds to the gaming experience, but there's such an incredibly small portion of potential users for the technology that in reality the Radeon 5800 series has only its shear graphics power to make the sales pitch.   "When it comes to overclocking the ASUS EAH5870 was stellar and was the fastest we have gotten any brand's Radeon HD 5870 card to date. Reaching 1069 MHz on the GPU core with just air cooling was amazing. This is an overclock of nearly 220MHz and that was able to boost our graphics performance by roughly 20% in PC games and in synthetic benchmarks like 3DMark Vantage.
