Evercool CPU Cooler Review Roundup
BCCHardware, Frostytech, Hardware Secrets, Tweaknews, and XtremeComputing have reviewed various CPU coolers from Evercool.
Let's see what they had to say:
- BCCHardware: Evercool Buffalo Cooler for Core i7:
"At the end of the day it's pretty easy to like the Buffalo CPU cooler from Evercool. While this might not be the quietest cooler we've tested, it is most definitely one of the most affordable cooler and offers much better performance than stock cooling can. Thanks to the extremely affordable price tag and the surprisingly good performance the Evercool Buffalo CPU cooler has earned out "Editor's Choice" award. If you're looking for a cooler for your new Intel Core i7 CPU that won't break the bank, you're going to want to check out the Evercool Buffalo CPU Cooler."

- Frostytech: Evercool Transformer 5 HPJ-12025 Heatsink Review:
"In any case, Evercool's Transformer 4 HPJ-12025 is a great heatsink for AMD platforms and a good-to-average thermal solution for socket 775 Intel processors. It operates quietly out of the box, but I'd certainly consider swapping out the unremarkable chromed 120mm fans for a set of Noctua's, kept in the same push-pull configuration."

- Hardware Secrets: Evercool Buffalo CPU Cooler Review:
"The Evercool Buffalo is not a high performance cooler. It is also not a silent cooler and the fact it always works at maximum speed makes it a bad option for someone who needs a silent computer, unless you connect it to a fan controller. So, if we look at the product itself, we concluded it is only an average cooler.
But the picture changes when we analyse the best feature on Buffalo: its price. Compared to other under USD 20 coolers, it has an excellent performance, beating even some more expensive coolers."

- Tweaknews: Evercool Transformer 4 Heatpipe CPU Cooler Review:
"Evercool's Transformer 4 CPU cooler, with its dual 120mm fans, 8mm copper heatpipes and direct touch design should be a top performer in the CPU cooling market. Its enormous size alone would seem to insure excellent cooling. However, as we see in the testing, the T4 just isn't able to keep up with the competition.
Available at many retailers for around $45 US, the Transformer 4 is not overly expensive, but one can easily find a cooler that performs much better, is easier to install and takes up less room for less money."

- XtremeComputing: Evercool Transformer 4 (HPJ-12025) CPU Cooler Review:
"The Evercool Transformer 4 is well within the enthusiast leagues of cooling. Its use of two low-speed fans rather than a single high-speed fan ensures that it performs whilst also maintaining some class in the way of near silent operation.
It may not be quite up to the standard of cooling that the Titan Fenrir provides, however, by upgrading the fans to some of equal performance (and noise) to that of the Fenrir, I believe that the Evercool Transformer 4 could well come out on top."
