ASUS P7P55D Deluxe Motherboard Reviews
PC Perspective, t-break, and TweakTown have posted a review of the ASUS P7P55D Deluxe, a high-end Intel P55 Express motherboard that supports the new LGA1156 processors.
Let's see what they had to say:
- PC Perspective:
"We'd like to thank our friends at ASUS for providing the P7P55D Deluxe for our review today. This is ASUS's premiere P55 motherboard and it didn't disappoint in any facet of our testing and evaluation. We initially had a few hiccups with some of our performance results being under par, but after a bit of research and tweaking, we were able to get strong results from this well designed motherboard. I'm sure as the P55 board matures and the technology gets a little more time out in the field that we will see improvements to drivers as well as other updates that will make the user experience that much better.
For its superior performance during our P55 overclocking and performance tests, we award the ASUS P7P55D Deluxe with our PC Perspective Gold Award."

- t-break:
"The P7P55D Deluxe is certainly a feature packed motherboard suitable for both novices and enthusiasts alike. The onboard switches for enabling or disabling the overvoltage settings in the BIOS and the remote makes overclocking much easier and the package contents perfectly complement the motherboards’ feature-rich layout.
Performance wise, compared to other P55 motherboards, the P7P55D seems to be a bit on the lower side, however, with most of the benchmarks its within 2% of the margin of error. Generally speaking, ASUS boards get better with BIOS updates and I’m guessing this will be the case with the P5P55D Deluxe as well."

- TweakTown:
"Our first ASUS P55 motherboard we have been able to test has left us with an extremely pleasant taste in our mouths. The P7P55D not only has alot of features for a mainstream board along with quite a good variety of tweaking and overclocking options, but this truly a hardcore board aimed for the mainstream market. With a pretty reasonable price tag of just $219.99 USD over at Newegg, depending on what CPU you want, a Core i5 will set you back $200 or an i7 870 for a hefty $550; it's clearly much cheaper to setup a hardcore Lynnfield system."

I've had the opportunity to try out the P7P55D Deluxe, and frankly it's damn near flawless. This is a very polished product.
