AMD Radeon HD 5970 2GB Launched!

At the stroke of midnight AMD's mightiest weapon was finally launched. The Radeon HD 5970 2GB graphics card, also known as Hemlock, features two HD 5870 GPUs on one PCB, although slightly downclocked from 850Mhz to 725Mhz. This is the card that AMD initially plans to use to battle NVIDIA's upcoming Fermi-based models. Have they succeeded in making a monster card? Well here are all the reviews:

Although it's not quite as fast as two Radeon HD 5870's in CrossFire mode, this new model is absolutely the fastest graphics card on the market right now. It is very expensive at $600, but then again it is quite a bit cheaper than two 5870 cards.
