Silverstone Raven RV02 Case Reviews
PC Perspective, PureOverclock, and Techgage have reviewed the Silverstone Raven RV02, an innovative & high-end mid-tower case.
Here's what they had to say:
- PC Perspective:
"We would like to thank our friends at Silverstone for providing the Raven 2 case for our review today. It's exciting to review components that are unique and veer off the beaten path that so many vendors have taken, especially when it comes to PC cases. The RV02 is a huge improvement from the bulkier RV01, and even throws in a few additional features as well as drops the price a bit form the original Raven case. The rotated motherboard is an excellent addition that added quite a bit of real estate for installing parts, but it also added room for more hardware like graphics cards and TV tuners. The hard drive cage's suspension system also worked as advertised, but it would have been nice to make it removable through the inside of the case instead of out through the front optical bays.
Overall, the Silverstone Raven RV02 case receives PC Perspective's Editors Choice Award for its creativity, functionality, expandability and killer looks!"

- PureOverclock:
"The Raven RV02 is quite simply an excellent piece of kit and is as well-refined as any case you'l find on the market. Priced around $190 USD and assuming you can afford it, this case will not leave you wanting. Bravo SilverStone for designing and building a truly brilliant and highly functional case. If you're looking for something unique and appreciate top-notch design and functionality, then the Raven RV02 is the one for you."

- Techgage:
"I give the Raven RV02 the Editor's Choice 9 out or 10 rating. This case does its job so well that there was simply no way I could give it a lower score. If not for the annoying screws in the front panel, I could have seen myself almost giving it that magical elusive 10 out of 10. SilverStone deserves two thumbs up here and you simply must give this chassis a strong hard look if you are in the market for a new chassis. If you liked the concept of the original, but were turned off by the less than stellar reviews, be sure to check it out."

Along with the Corsair Obsidian 800D and Lian Li PC-P50, this is one of the best high-end cases of 2009.
