ASRock G43Twins-FullHD Motherboard Review

EXTREME Overclocking have posted a review of the ASRock G43Twins-FullHD, a Micro ATX motherboard based on the Intel G43 chipset and which features the GMA 4500 integrated graphics processor.

Here's what they had to say:

"The ASRock G43Twins-FullHD is a great board for those who are on a tight budget but still want a lot of great features. It supports all of the modern hardware out there making it worthy contender in the battle of features vs. price. The 4GB of memory issue was not something I expected to see, but it only a BIOS update fix away I'm sure. The included DVI / DisplayPort card make it a good choice for a HTPC. The onboard video is acceptable for video playback and light gaming. For a first time builder or someone looking to build a secondary computer this board has the features that most people are looking for as long are you aren't looking to overclock it much."

This motherboard doesn't feel particularly inspired, and although its relatively cheap that's not enough to make it a worthwhile offering. For as little as $5 more, you can buy the ASUS P5G43T-M Pro, which does have an HDMI port, and is a much more polished product.
