Gaming Mouse Review Roundup - Mionix, Razer, ROCCAT & More
Driverheaven, High Tech Reviews, Rbmods, and TechwareLabs have reviewed gaming mice from Mionix, Razer, ROCCAT, and SteelSeries.
Let's see what they had to say:
- Driverheaven: ROCCAT Kova Gaming Mouse Review:
"Overall the Kova is a good mouse. It combines sleek looks with solid performance so is definitely a worthwhile consideration for any gamer. There are a few slight quality issues present but you shouldn’t let this sway you too far away from the Kova as they are not really significant.
My main concern with the Kova is the lack of software configuration. Sure you can configure a few aspects of it using the different combinations of buttons but I found this to be a clumsy process and quite frustrating after a while."

- Driverheaven: SteelSeries Xai Gaming Mouse Review:
"All told, the SteelSeries Xai is the most impressive gaming mouse I have ever tested in our labs. SteelSeries haven’t merely tried to differentiate the Xai with flashing lights and weight systems we have seen from competing manufacturers - instead they have concentrated on the core features such as ergonomics and performance.
I used the Xai with a variety of different gaming surfaces during testing. It performed well with every surface however I felt the best option was the SteelSeries QcK gaming surface. It provides a combination of good value for money and decent performance."

- High Tech Reviews: Mionix Saiph 1800 Mouse Review:
"We have now been using the Mionix Saiph 1800 for a little over a month and we wanted to see how well it compared to our normal Razer mice. The overall size of the mouse is about compared to the Razer Death Adder that I use, is slightly larger. The controls for changing the resolution of the mouse are about the same as far as the ease of changing from one setting to the other.
Overall the Saiph 1800 is very close to quality of the Razer mouse, the one drawn back is something that will be considered petty, but in my book it means a lot."

- Rbmods: Roccat Kova Mouse Review:
"This is a great mouse, it fits my hand perfect and the it doesn't weigh anything which makes it very comfortable to game with. It works for most users since it is for left and right handed consumers. The leds give it a cool look while the button combinations make it very easy to change settings instead of having a software. Another cool thing is that it has a extra wide scroll wheel and and buttons on both sides of the mouse. I can more than recommend this product since it is a great mouse that makes gaming a pleasure."

- TechwareLabs: Death Adder V2 Review:
"The new Death Adder looks like the old Death Adder, feels like the old Death Adder, and even has the same interface as the old Death Adder. Thereby if I was in the market for a first time gaming mouse, the Death Adder would definitely be near the top of my list, but if I already had a Death Adder, I would not feel very compelled to dish out another $59.99 to go from 1800 DPI to 3500 DPI. That being said, the new Death Adder raises the bar for gaming mice and keep Razer firmly in one of the top positions for gaming peripherals. We highly recommend you consider a Razer Death Adder for your next gaming mouse."
