NZXT Case Reviews - Beta EVO, Panzerbox, Tempest & More
Benchmark Reviews, Bona Fide Reviews, Overclockers Online, PC Perspective, PureOverclock, and Rbmods have reviewed various PC cases from NZXT, namely the Beta EVO, GAMMA, Lexa S, Panzerbox, and Tempest.
Let's see what they had to say:
- Benchmark Reviews: NZXT LEXA S Computer Chassis:
"NZXT has gone to extra trouble on the aesthetics of this case, with a fully finished interior, sleek faceplate, and hidden fasteners. The appearance is bold without being too aggressive.
The construction quality of the case was excellent. The side panels slipped smoothly on and off; the faceplate fit perfectly, and the finish was almost flawless.
Functionally, the only issues I have with this case are the aforementioned clearance issues. These will be common to all NZXT cases using this otherwise excellent chassis. A few added millimeters in the right places would make this case almost perfect."

- Bona Fide Reviews: NZXT GAMMA Classic Series PC Case:
"The NZXT Gamma is a well designed and well built case that most anyone should appreciate. There’s plenty of room for most any system in it, and a lot of the installation is tool-less making it easy to get your system in it.
It does have a couple issues though, the lack of space near the top is one of them, it’s quite cramped up there, and you’ll find it hard to install a CPU cooler or plug in the CPU power connection.
The lack of fans I’m sure was a way to keep the cost down, but I think they should have included at least one additional fan in the front of the case. You’ll most certainly need to buy more fans, thus incurring an additional cost."

- Overclockers Online: NZXT Lexa S Review:
"I knew the Lexa S would be a strong performer the moment I laid eyes on it. With the inclusion of 4 case fans, NZXT gives its customer a good start on the road to cooling. NZXT has fired off a new case once again, and has hit several consumers with a myriad of attractive features alongside powerful performance.
Sitting around a price point of about $100 CAD, it's fairly difficult to find another computer chassis that competes in all areas given; it's a case that I would recommend to anyone looking to build a new PC and not have to break the bank when out shopping for this critical component."

- PC Perspective: NZXT Panzerbox Aluminum Mid-Tower ATX Case Review:
"We'd like to thank our friends at NZXT for providing the Panzerbox Mid-Tower ATX case for our review today. There are tons of neat features that are geared toward gamers looking for a stylish, yet highly functional case for their high-end computer components. The addition of three high CFM fans combined with the ability to mount custom watercooling systems really creates an ideal environment for today's hardware that operates at higher temperatures and needs more than adequate cooling to run at its best performance level. While we did run into a few snags during the installation phase of testing, our overall opinion of the Panzerbox is very positive and its current price point makes it an even more attractive solution when we compare it against the likes of Lian Li and Silverstone cases, to name a few."

- PureOverclock: NZXT Tempest Mid-Tower Case:
"Overall, we were quite pleased to be able to work with the NZXT Tempest for an extended duration before writing the review, as this allowed us to be able to really get to know the case, and learn as much about it as possible. Our only complaints with it were really the paint overspray, and the slight work that had to be done to remove the fan filters in the front of the case. But even these were minor details in the overall grand scheme of things. The Tempest definitely gets a thumbs-up, and should be on your short list if you are looking for an affordable case with plenty of features."

- Rbmods: NZXT Beta EVO Black Mid-Tower Case:
"The NZXT Beta EVO is a great case for the budget builder, but still manages to pack in features of a high end case. For only $60, it has room for loads of fans, cable management holes, tool-less installation that actually works, and even manages to look good with a black interior. If only it came with a few more fans."
