"The Seasonic X series is a likely candidate for folks who desire a specific wattage and want a top of the line PSU. Others who are more frugal and perhaps desiring of more wattage should avoid the X series, because it’s nearly $200–and that’s for the 650W version. For that price, one could easily acquire an 850W – 1 kW PC Power and Cooling unit.

Price aside, the Seasonic X series 650W is a top-notch medium wattage power supply for mid-range systems.

Seasonic has a real winner with their new X Series. It is expensive, but it's the new platform to beat, especially given its 80PLUS Gold certification.
