Mionix Keid 20 Gaming Headset Review

Mon 2010-03-15 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
Rbmods have reviewed the Mionix Keid 20, a relatively high-end gaming headset.

Let's see what they had to say:

"The whole kit is very comfortable to wear even for longer periods and the only con I really found was that the headset feels a bit to small for my head an this is considering that I do not have a large head. This headset sells for around 60$ USD so it's not to bad priced compared vs other competitors. The mic sounds is very good and clear and works well with both Ventrilo and Skype usage.

Something I find good is that Mionix have decided to give a 2 year warranty and they replace the headset with a new product if it breaks. Overall though the storage bag, the very comfortable ear pads, and a nice deep bass makes this is an above average headset any day of the year. The only flaws however is that the sizing is a bit small and the treble is a bit to low. I can't wait for a newer version of the headset if they make one where they fix the flaws!"

This headset is a step in the right direction for Mionix, but I still recommend the SteelSeries Sibera series as my first choice.
