Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 FleX Edition Graphics Card Reviews
TechwareLabs and ThinkComputers have posted a review of the Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 FleX Edition graphics card, which features an enhanced Eyefinity port configuration.
Let's see what they had to say:
- TechwareLabs:
"Overall this is a very inexpensive card with some great versatility. Are you going to be throwing this card into your gaming rig? I hope not. This is a decent card for the intended purpose and I couldn’t find a fault with it. If you’re looking for a workstation upgrade on a budget, this is a great card. In fact, it is “the most cost-effective Eyefinity solution available.” Good job Sapphire!"

- ThinkComputers:
"We have been reviewing Sapphire cards for quite sometime and they always try to add something to their cards to make them a better value than the normal reference cards out there. With this card Sapphire has done that. First they have made it passive which eliminates sound, that makes it ideal for home theater PC’s and people who want a quiet machine. Also being passive means that you don’t have to power a fan, which cuts down on the total power consumption.
The other thing that Sapphire has added to this card is the “FleX” capability. This of course enables Eyefinity on a single card giving you a very inexpensive triple screen monitor configuration. While Eyefinity is really made for gamers, with this card you can create large desktop environments which are perfect for photo and video editing and just make productivity overall better."

This is a great budget-priced card for those who need a multi-monitor setup for productivity reasons, but also don't really have any gaming aspirations.
