Thermaltake Dr. Power II Power Supply Tester Review

Thu 2012-02-02 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
Tweaknews have the tested the interesting Thermaltake Dr. Power II universal ATX power supply tester.

Let's see what they had to say:

"Thermaltake's Dr. Power II works as advertised, is relatively accurate and has an easily used and intuitive interface. Two testing modes allow the user to make a quick pass or zero in on a suspect connector or rail. It's compact, lightweight and the large LCD screen is easy to read.

Widely available online for around $35-40 US, the Dr Power II is two to three times as expensive as some of the competition, but the accuracy and features make this price differential a little easier to swallow. Having used several devices like this, and found them lacking for various reasons, I'll be keeping the Dr. Power II in my toolkit for the foreseeable future."

This is a great little tool for those who are serious about PC building.
